Initial situation

In the canton of Schwyz, income and wealth taxes are levied for the canton, districts, municipalities and parishes, as well as federal income tax (direct federal tax).

Because the subject of taxes is quite 'dry', it always raises questions.

does not appeal to everyone. Easier and quicker access to information 
around the clock is becoming increasingly important.

 

Idea & realization

With the chatbot as a digital service, questions about tax returns, tax invoices and other tax topics can be answered quickly at any time, 
tax bill and other tax-related topics quickly. It is 
to provide interested persons with the information they require, direct them to the 
to the right websites or to refer them to the relevant specialists.

Many services are already available online. The chatbot leads directly to these services without a time-consuming search:

  • Adjustment of provisional tax invoices
  • Extension of the deadline for filing the tax return
  • Tax residence certificates
  • Tax calculator
  • SZ - Online declaration solution
  • Power of attorney for representation in tax matters (simple and comprehensive power of attorney)
  • Download tax forms or specialist content (e.g. information sheets, calculation aids, instructions, property gains tax return)
  • Contact details of specialists or specialist departments

The chatbot was implemented within a few weeks on the basis of the aiaibot service automation platform and went live in February 2023. The chatbot is being continuously expanded.
